After three years in the Gängeviertel, this year we are venturing to expand: the feel.jazz festival is moving to the Hafenklang directly on the Elbe. Not only can we now play on two stages, we can also celebrate jazz with more people at the same time. We are venturing into new ways of receiving music: before the concert programme, there will be reclining concerts in which the space itself becomes a body of sound. At regular intervals, three performances take place at the same time and we set a table where we delve deeper into the question of what jazz actually feels like.
What we don’t know is that this will be one of the last major events before parts of the world go into a corona break.
